For many Rural and Remote Australians, hope is scarce, depression is a part of everyday life and suicide is not uncommon. Since the early 1990’s Care Outreach has expanded to the extent that today there are volunteer teams undertaking year round visits, giving hands-on assistance and facilitating Community Events.
Care Outreach offers a helping hand to Queensland & NSW farmers who are suffering from the effects of severe drought. As the drought continues farmers continue to struggle financially with the increased costs of ensuring water and feed is available to keep their stock alive.
Christmas for the Bush is the major annual event of Care Outreach and as part of this we provide gifts, hampers and finacial assistance to families to support them at this often emotionally hard time of year.
Due to the size of this campaign, we collect year round for CFTB.
We provide regular face to face visitation and ministry, assist with property support (fencing, mustering, livestock etc), offer domestic help and faciliate community events in rural and regional parts of Australia.
Thank you for supporting our Aussie Farmers! Every bit counts and we couldn’t do it without our army of faithful volunteers and the generosity of our community.
