Volunteers

Volunteers needed to visit farm families for our Christmas for the Bush project in South and South Western Qld.Dates:  3rd – 17th  DecemberIf you have a heart for rural communities, and would like to visit farm families, to bring a smile, a word of encouragement and a message of hope.  Please contact our office to enquire how to join a volunteer team.

Next volunteer training dates are
Saturday Nov 5th  at  1pm   and Fri 11th Nov at 6.30pm

Due to circumstances beyond our control the advertised training session on Friday the 4th of November has been rescheduled to the 11th.

Care Outreach operates on the generosity of its volunteers.Field Volunteer –  Training provided

  • Do you have a desire to travel into Rural and Remote regions and be an encourager/helper, do you like talking and making new friends?  
  • Would you like to assist with a community event
  • Do you have a trade skill and would like to join a Work Party offering property support and maintenance. If you don’t have a special skill, maybe you just want to offer some practical assistance

Office/Warehouse volunteer

  • There are opportunities to help with sorting and packing donated items, sewing, wrapping gifts, craft activities 

If you would like to join our teams of volunteers either in our Head office or in the Field please contact our office for volunteer registration forms and if applicable a ‘Blue Card’ for working with children application form.

(It is a Care Outreach policy that all Qld field volunteers hold a ‘Blue Card’ for working with children.)
