Care Outreach have initiated Flood Appeal 2012 - in response to the devastation experienced in Queensland’s South Western communities.
Financial Donations (Tax Deductible)
Financial donations are required to be able to provide assistance, hampers, toiletries and assistance with repairs.

Volunteers Volunteers will be required in the weeks and months to come. Skilled and unskilled most welcome. Please contact us to register your interest/availability. We do not physically have the ability to help everyone – there just are not enough resources – our goal is to help one family at a time. Practical Donations: We are only accepting new/as new items
- Small electrical and kitchen appliances
- Linen – including Sheets, Towels, Pillow, Blankets, Curtains
- Cleaning equipment, buckets, mops, disinfectant, gloves, safety glasses
- ‘Bushman’ brand Insect Repellant
- Kitchen plasticwear and plastic storage tubs (with lids)
We are currently not in a position to receive furniture and bulky items, this may change in the weeks to come. Please refer back here for any changes.
We DO NOT ACCEPT:
- Linen that is worn, marked or pilled, sheets with the elastic gone.
- Clothing items that have marks, are smelly/musty or have seen better days
- Toiletries that have been opened or partly used
- Mattresses, Analogue TV’s, Computer Equipment
- Toys that are broken or have parts missing. (How would you feel if you received a broken toy)
The office/warehouse is open Mon-Fri 9 - 2 to receive any donations that are being dropped off locally.
